This is a project collaborating with the Orphanages; the aim of this project is to encourage orphans to be more self aware and to be more confident in their daily life. The orphans will learn hands on crafting skills for their extra knowledge and for their needs in the future. This project will encourage the orphans to explore their creative side.

It’s been known that most of the people go to orphanage houses to help them, give them laughter, teach them some life skill and of course give them some warmth. Thus, in this project, I would like to bring laughter and some musical skill to these children, letting them know that there is people out there caring for them.In this project, 2 orphanage homes from Seremban and Port Dickson are selected. This project will be running for a month, practice will be held on the first to third weekends and the fourth weekend of the month, we will do a small performance. This performance consists of both orphanage homes performance pieces and a jamming session together.For the performance week, both of the orphanage homes will gather at a selected performing place, performing the piece they’ve been trained in these few weeks. This will be a wonderful chance for them to make friends which they seldom have chance to do so as they used to be in their houses.The orphanage homes chosen would be: (i) Rhema Children Welfare Home, Seremban. (ii) New Life Care Center, Port Dickson

We are a team of passionate medical students from Taylor’s University with a belief that a seed of an idea fertilized by perspiration and perseverance can grow into tree of success. Therefore, we aim to bring improvement of quality of life to an orphanage named “Pusat Jagaan Beribuan Kasih”This orphanage was founded by Ms Kavita with a group of friends few years ago. However, her group of friends eventually let go of the orphanage after managing it for a few years for family matters. Fortunately, a sponsor was willing to fund the orphanage at that time. However, after funding the orphanage for 2 years, her sponsored eventually pulled out and left to the United States. That left Ms Kavita in quite a predicament as she had 10 orphans in her orphanage at that time. However, Ms Kavita did not have the heart to send the children away and eventually decided to sustain the orphanage, hoping that things would turn on well.Currently, the orphanage survives on the mercy of irregular donations of the good public. Ms Kavita, who is also the only person with a steady income in the centre (she does shift work when she is not in the orphanage), runs the place with help from a few older children who was also raised in the orphanage. Whenever financial donations were insufficient, Ms Kavita would meet that financial need with her own salary. Living conditions are sufficient for survival but questionable in terms of a healthy environment. She has about 45 residents under her wing of which there are 25 children of which 5 are disabled children and the rest are adults without a home.

First of all, this Ayam Kampong Integration Project has been decided because of the problems that come  from the villager’s chicken. Initially, the chicken was kept as the last consumer for the leftover foods in  their daily life and not for the commercial purpose. However, the villagers unaware about the increasing of  their chicken’s number until the feces are everywhere and make the housing area became smelly and  dirty. Besides, they did not take serious about the risk that might be a problem to the chickens when the  flood occurred because of Kampong Kulim and the villages nearby were located at the lower ground. The  outcomes were a lot of chicken carcass polluted the village after the flood. So, with the existence of this  project we might solve these problems.
