A small competition is held to encourage primary school students to learn origami online themselves, every primary school student who are interested can prepare their best origami themselves in their own house and take a photo of their handicraft. LIMITATION
- Project Student sent color papers and formal letters to three (3) primary schools nearby UTHM, Parit Raja (see Appendix 1 to Appendix 4). Due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia, the Government of Malaysia has taken significant precautions to prevent virus transmission. This includes the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) that restricted our movement to conduct the project on the groundwork. From here, we encountered the first hurdle where we were restricted from visiting the schools due to the implementation of the Standard of Procedure (SOP). We sent a formal invitation letter to all the art teachers of each primary school to invite them to teach origami in class and participate in our online origami competition (see Appendix 6 to Appendix 7). (8 November 2020) Senior Minister of Education announced that all primary and secondary schools were closed from 9 November 2020 until further notice. Therefore, art teachers from the primary schools did not have enough time to teach origami physically using color papers.
- Parit Raja is a rural area in Johor. When we visited one of the primary schools in the area, the headmaster told us not to expect high participation and commitment from the students as the students were not committing to the online class organized by the school itself. It was because most of the students did not have the required smart gadgets, WiFi, and cellular data at home. They relied more on their parents for internet hotspots so that they could access the Internet. Yet, they faced difficulty in this case as the parents had to work during day time. Therefore, our team came up with a plan B whereby our members would be promoting this project to their alma mater of primary school.

- 7 November 2020, the fund was transferred from the Khind Starfish Foundation to the UTHM bank account. We had done our paperwork to redeem the fund (see Appendix 5). However, the Student Affairs Office informed us that the fund could only be utilized for purchase purposes by their department, implying that no cash withdrawal would be allowed.
- 13 November 2020, I was forwarded to Puan Maryam Binti Husni (Student Affairs Office’ staff) and she suggested me to do purchasing once the paperwork was approved. On the same day, she managed to direct me to an agent, Monstera Party House owned by Mrs. Alisa Muhamad on 22 November 2020 and Aura Elegant Enterprise owned by Mrs. Nor Yatimah Binti Ahmad on 23 November 2020 to purchase a list of materials. Unfortunately, they informed me that it would take some time to process the sudden order due to the Johor Lockdown and slow logistics. Thus, materials were received late from Monstera Party House (28 November 2020) (see Appendix 13). The materials from Aura Elegant Enterprise (18 December 2020) (see Appendix 14) were received late as there was a positive case from Aura Elegant Enterprise's office, hence they needed to do the quarantine themselves.
- Therefore, we only managed to do a small-scale's workshop demo and taught them to do a chocolate boutique with origami due to the restrictions of SOP.
- Student Affairs Office deducted a percentage of 10% (RM250).
- Student Affairs Office staff (Puan Umi Nadzirah Binti Ab.majid) allocated RM500 in case.
- The implementation date for the project ‘Share Happiness with Handicraft' was from 1 November 2020 to 2 January 2021.
- Therefore, Project Student had to pay RM559.95 back to Khind Starfish Foundation (RM59.95 + RM500).
